Principal Consultant, Dr Kate Fitz-Gibbon, named in World Economic Forum 2024 YoungGlobal Leaders Class

Earlier this month the World Economic Forum (WEF) announced the 2024 Young Global Leaders Class. Principal consultant, Dr Kate Fitz-Gibbon, is included in this year’s group of nearly 90 changemakers who have been recognised for their work shaping the future and accelerating positive change in their communities, organisations and beyond. The 2024 class includes a diverse group of changemakers, with experience in politics, business, civil society, the arts and academia.

Announcing the 2024 class, the WEF described the Young Global Leaders:

For two decades, the Forum of Young Global Leaders has been at the forefront of cultivating a unique community of leaders who are dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing problems head-on. This community has served as an example of the impact that collective action can have – whether it is pioneering ground-breaking initiatives in public health and economic development or driving cutting edge innovations in technology and sustainability, over the years.

Dr Fitz-Gibbon has been included in this year’s class in recognition of her commitment to eliminating violence against women and children, including her work to improve legal responses to violence against women, and her research to inform improve domestic and family violence policy and practice.

As part of the Young Global Leader’s Forum experience, Dr Fitz-Gibbon will complete a three-year leadership development programme, including access to a range of executive education courses, learning journeys and opportunities to collaborate with other Young Global Leaders.
